The general registration period from the 2nd of September to the 7th of October 2024 applies to all students and courses with restricted attendance, for which places are allocated via Digicampus using so-called “Anmeldesets.”

To find out which courses are available within the given modules of your degree programme, check out the module catalogue. Then register for your courses. The lecture period begins on Monday the 14th of October 2024.

The following types of course registration can only take place in the late registration period from the 14th of October to the 28th October 2024:

• Registration by first-semester students
• Registration for exercise groups (?bungsgruppen)
• Registration by students changing subjects
• Allocation of remaining places or re-registrations

What applies to first-semester students?

As a rule, first-semester students are not given a ready-made timetable on their first day at university. However, many subjects and degree programmes offer sample timetables or timetable tips for the first (subject) semester on their homepages. These are usually available before the start of the new semester.

Please take a close look at your degree programme homepage and attend the introductory events for first-semester students, which are important for ensuring a successful start to your studies. Here you will find, among other things, recommendations on how to organise your timetable and answers to any subject-related questions related to starting your studies.

What is Digicampus?

Digicampus is the interactive portal for organising your studies. You can register here for almost all courses, seminars, and lectures, as well as for language courses and first-semester events that take place before the start of the lecture period. You will also receive relevant course information here, such as materials, scripts, dates, etc. It also offers a discussion platform for lecturers and students.
